Cosmetic Dental Care, Manawatu's 'award winning' dental business brings you painfree dentistry, the ability to transform your smile and a promise to fulfill our mission "teeth for life".

You'll notice your dental experience will be different from what you have experienced before AND that's because we focus on you. In particular, your dental health, your smile and more importantly your comfort, through our dedicated team of professionals, technology and business systems.

We aim to bring you the ultimate in customer service. On arrival your personally assigned dental co-ordinator will greet you in reception and remain with you throughout your whole dental experience at Cosmetic Dental Care including your follow up calls the next day.

You are encouraged to arrive early for your appointment, have some refreshments and relax or just listen to our soothing music whilst reading a magazine. You will also be given our “9 Points To Choosing a Dentist” booklet to read, plus a medical questionnaire and a smile evaluation.

Our awesome team are ready to take care of you and your dental needs.

On your first visit you will spend time with our expert dentist, who will question you about your dental health, and let’s just say this is your opportunity to build your dental health plan with your dentist.

For longer dental procedures, you can choose from our extensive range of comedy videos, viewed on special video glasses. You can choose from 12 comedy video’s such as Dave Allen, Absolutely Fabulous, Billy T James, and many more. Or you may wish to bring your own! AND if you don’t finish the video we will record where you left off and you can continue watching at your next appointment. It’s not often you hear shrieks of laughter from a dental surgery! Or if you prefer other distractions, you can choose to play with a variety of tactile objects such as koosh balls. In your right hand you will be given the pain-free button to hold with instructions to press if you feel discomfort.

Our Principal Dentist, Franco Dal Din, created Cosmetic Dental Care in 1996 based on the philosophy of the famous Australian dentist Paddi Lund and the "happiness centred business". Franco has treated over 45,000 mouths in his 23 years practicing as a dentist and he gets his greatest pleasure from the cosmetic dentistry & the difference this makes. It's no wonder our greatest source of new clients come from already existing customers talking to their friends and colleagues.

Our dental hygienist, Kathleen, cares for your gums and promises to educate you how to look after your oral hygiene, to avoid bad breath & gum recession or disease. Kathleen is serious about her work and has a wicked sense of humour. You’ll never experience a dental hygiene treatment like it!

Principal Dentist - Franco DalDin - Company Director/Dentist
Franco, a first generation Italian, graduated BDS 1979 from Otago University. He has practiced dentistry for the past 23 years and has a reputation for creative excellence amongst his clients and peers. He has a passion for dentistry and customer service, and in particular cosmetic dentistry. He thoroughly enjoys seeing the transformation of a clients smile and their resulting confidence. Franco is married to Gill (a dietitian) and has 3 children; Chris 17, Matthew 15 and Luisa 10.
